Michelle is a multiple award winning singer, actor, writer and comedian.  In 2019 Michelle joined the cast of ABC's critically acclaimed long-running series Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (S10, S11). She has appeared on Aunty Donna’s Big Old House Of Fun (Netflix), Utopia ( ABC), Whovians (ABC), Get Krackin’ (ABC), Drunk History (Ten), At Home Alone Together (ABC), Stan Original Australian Lockdown Comedy Festival special (Stan) and joined the cast as a regular on the most recent season of Channel 10’s How To Stay Married. She made her feature film debut in 2018’s The Merger. Michelle has also appeared on Thank God You’re Here (Ten), We Interrupt This Broadcast (Seven), The Hundred with Andy Lee (Nine) and the upcoming musical TV series, Australian Epic on ABC. Brasier is a core cast member in Aunty Donna’s Coffee Cafe (ABC). Michelle voices characters on Adult Swim productions Koala Man (Disney Plus) and Yolo: Crystal Fantasy/ Silver Destiny (HBO Max). 

 

She has written for Why Are You Like This (ABC, Netflix), Yolo: Crystal Fantasy, YOLO: Silver Destiny (Adult Swim US),  and Aunty Donna’s Coffee Cafe (ABC). 

 

Michelle has been lauded for her frequent collaborations with Aunty Donna, most recently on Aunty Donna's Big Ol’ House of Fun (NETFLIX), ABC sitcom Aunty Donna’s Coffee Cafe and as a writer and vocalist on their ARIA nominated Album and accompanying Australian tour. 

 

In 2021 Brasier debuted her award winning show, Average Bear which sold out seasons and earned rave reviews across the Australian festival circuit. Average Bear was nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, won Directors’ Choice Award at the 2021 Sydney Comedy Festival, and received rave reviews from the Sydney Morning Herald and renowned UK comedy guide, Chortle. Average Bear earned a sold out season at Edinburgh Fringe in 2022. The show has since been filmed as a special for Paramount Plus and earned Michelle a highly coveted spot at Just For Laughs Montreal as part of the New Faces International Showcase. 

 

Following this success, Michelle returned to the UK for a sold out season of Average Bear at the Soho Theatre in London and a sold out critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe season of her second show, Reform which was named number 10 in the British Comedy Guide’s top 50 best reviewed wrap up of the 3000 + shows of the festival.  

 

In addition to her screen work, Michelle has a strong background in theatre and musicals. She led the cast as Kimberly in the 2020 Red Stitch production of Nick Coyle’s Feather In The Web directed by Declan Greene and appeared as Aysha in Stephen Schwartz’s Children Of Eden (Melbourne Recital Centre) .
